Job summary

ProHealth Care in Wisconsin seeks Tier 1 pharmacy technicians to perform basic pharmaceutical duties under pharmacist supervision. You will handle stock ordering, drug selection, nonsterile preparation, and controlled substances handling.

Qualifications

Proficient in basic mathematical and pharmaceutical calculations.
Computer and telephone skills as part of daily tasks.
Interact well with other healthcare personnel as part of the PHC team.
Competence in ordering and control of stock, drug product selection, nonsterile preparation, and controlled substances handling.
Proficiency in pharmacy automated systems and applicable insurance adjudication, prescription entry, cash handling and inventory control for Retail Tier 1.

Responsibilities

Perform basic pharmaceutical duties under the direct supervision of PHC registered pharmacists.
Order and control stock, select drug products, and perform nonsterile drug preparation.
Handle controlled substances and operate pharmacy automated systems.
For Retail Tier 1, process insurance adjudication, prescription entry, cash handling and inventory control.
