Job summary

Mercyhealth is seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Technicians with inpatient experience for our hospital team in Wisconsin. You will handle medication preparation, IV and non-sterile compounding, inventory management, and support daily pharmacy operations in a fast-paced setting.

Evening shifts are 3:00 PM-11:30 PM, every other weekend. A state license is required, with PTCB/NHA certification preferred. Mercyhealth offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Graduate from Pharmacy Technician Program preferred.
• Pharmacy Technician Licensure required.
• PTCB or Certification through NHA required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and packages medications for delivery and storage.
• Retrieves, counts, measures, and compounds drugs under pharmacist supervision.
• Delivers medications and supplies to nursing units and stock areas.
• Maintains knowledge of department equipment and technology.
• Fills automated dispensing systems accurately.
• Manages inventory and checks stock levels and expiry dates.
• Triages phone calls and communicates within the department.
