Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners seeks a Pharmacy Technician for Sunnyview Hospital to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This full-time role requires distribution, preparation, and accurate labeling of medications for nursing units, with emphasis on Pyxis and MedCarousel workflows.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
• Two years pharmacy and computer experience preferred.
• Certification from PTCB or NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication distribution in inpatient pharmacy.
• Process first dose and manual picks via Pyxis Logistics and MedCarousel.
• Fill carts and patient drawers using Pyxis Logistics and MedCarousel.
• Send Pharmacy items to nursing units via Pneumatic Tube system.
• Prepare medications for dispensing and verify dosage forms.
• Maintain adequate drug levels and report shortages or discrepancies to pharmacist.
