Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Able to perform arithmetic calculations including fractions, decimals, multiplication and division.
• Two years pharmacy and computer experience preferred.
• National certification by PTCB or NHA preferred.
• Valid New York State Pharmacy Technician Registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Medication distribution: decentralized, manage missing doses, IV infusions, med room organization, Pyxis handling, and liaison with pharmacy.
• Inventory: maintain floor stock, vaccines, narcotic boxes, and Pyxis inventory.
• Order and report processing: log and process daily reports; transport/emergency kit logs.
