Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist Supervisor to provide clinical and technical supervision for inpatient pharmacy staff, overseeing 24/7 operations and collaboration with hospital teams.

The role requires a Pharm.D. (or ACPE-accredited degree) and full licensure, with preference for inpatient operation and supervisory experience. EDRP eligibility is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with ACPE-accredited degree and active license in the United States.
• Inpatient operation experience preferred; supervisory experience in inpatient settings is a plus.
• US citizenship or eligibility in accordance with VA policy must be met.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical supervision for inpatient pharmacy staff.
• Oversee inpatient services operations 24/7 and ensure safe and effective drug therapy.
• Participate in drug-use evaluation, policy adherence, and interdisciplinary care meetings.
