Job summary

The Supervisory Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (Inpatient) at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs leads inpatient pharmacy services, supervising staff and coordinating clinical activities to ensure high-quality patient care within the HCS.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited program (BS Pharm or PharmD) or foreign degree with FPGEC/TOEFL
• Full, current license to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state, DC or territories
• U.S. citizenship required
• Grandfathering provision may apply for eligible current VA employees

Responsibilities

• Supervise inpatient clinical pharmacy staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate inpatient care activities in the Health Care System.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards in pharmacy.
• Provide clinical and management guidance to pharmacy services within the VA system.
