Job summary

The Inpatient Pharmacy Senior Technician at University of Kentucky UKHC is responsible for maintaining stock, processing and delivering patient orders, replenishing cabinets, and aiding in training. This role is eligible for a recruitment bonus.

Shift is 7 days on/7 days off; located in Lexington, KY. Requires HS, 1 year of experience, and national certification plus Kentucky board registration within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• This position requires a high school diploma and related experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in pharmacy settings.
• Nationally certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB/ExCPT or NHA) and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy registration within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stock inventory and participate in ordering processes.
• Process, dispense and deliver patient-specific orders with timeliness.
• Replenish automated medication dispensing cabinets.
• Assist in training newly hired technicians and student learners.
