Job summary

Saint Luke’s East Hospital (SLE) seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day inpatient pharmacy operations and our infusion center, guiding about 25 staff including technicians and nurses. The role partners with the Pharmacy Director to optimize workflow, safety and performance through projects and committee work.

Candidates must be a licensed pharmacist in Missouri and Kansas (or eligible) with hospital pharmacy experience; leadership experience is preferred. Full-time day shift.

Qualifications

• Must have hospital pharmacy experience and leadership experience preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist in Missouri and Kansas (or eligible).
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and ensure workflow for efficiency and timely care.
• Establish QA and performance improvement activities.
• Precept learners including technicians, students, residents.
• Lead department meetings and participate in committees.
• Responsible for HR management including recruitment, retention and staff development.
• Ensure regulatory compliance at federal and state level.
