Job summary

RPh on the Go USA, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Manager for a contract assignment in Reno, NV to lead inpatient hospital pharmacy operations in a post-acute setting with 25 beds and an average census of 23 patients.

Responsibilities include reviewing orders, supervising distribution, guiding staff, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws while collaborating with physicians and nurses. Weekend/on-call coverage required.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada pharmacist license required.
• Experience with IV compounding in inpatient hospital settings.
• Strong leadership and staff management abilities.
• Familiar with hospital pharmacy systems; WellSky experience valuable.
• Comfortable operating Pyxis automation and remote order entry support.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders and dosing per patient needs.
• Supervise medication distribution to units and manage carts/Pyxis.
• Provide leadership and training for pharmacy technicians; schedule and evaluate staff.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, controlled substances, and waste reduction.
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and accreditation standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy and patient care.
• Participate in medication safety initiatives.
