Sibley Memorial Hospital, part of Johns Hopkins Medicine, has a rich history since 1890. As a full-service community hospital, it provides various inpatient services including medical, surgical, ICU, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, and skilled nursing care, along with a 24-hour Emergency Department. The campus also hosts Grand Oaks assisted living, physician offices, and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers.

General Summary
  • Oversee Pharmacy operations, including scheduling, personnel management, medication procurement, sterile and non-sterile compounding, and workflow coordination.
  • Participate in quality assurance, serve on hospital committees, and support other healthcare practitioners.
  • Collaborate on departmental projects and services with key leaders.
  • Develop and monitor pharmacy services for patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drugs.
  • Manage staffing, recruitment, training, and employee development.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college
  • Active District of Columbia pharmacist license
  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent experience
  • Advanced training (MS, MBA, MPH, or managerial experience)
  • At least two years of hospital pharmacy practice
  • Preferred: two years of supervisory experience

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift

Salary Range: $61.15 - $106.99 per hour, commensurate with experience.
