Job summary

Pharmacy - Yale Campus in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a Pharmacist to review orders for safety, ensure timely preparation and dispensing of medications, and provide education to patients and staff. You will supervise support staff in your area and work within USP 797 and TJC standards.

Qualified candidates hold a Doctor of Pharmacy or Pharm.D., are licensed by the Oklahoma Board, and have 0–6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Pharm.D. from an accredited school of Pharmacy.
• Licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy as a Doctor of Pharmacy.
• 0–6 months related experience.

Responsibilities

• Reviews medication orders for safety and appropriateness prior to dispensing or administration.
• Enters or verifies orders that have been entered into the hospital information system.
• Prepares or directly supervises the preparation of medication prior to dispensing.
• Maintains knowledge of USP 797 and TJC standards for safe medication handling.
• Provides drug information or education to patients and staff upon request.
• Provides consultative and clinical pharmacy services as needed.
