Job summary

Concord Hospital seeks a pharmacist to oversee the safe and appropriate use of medications throughout the hospital. Under the Director of Pharmacy, you will interpret orders, obtain, prepare and dispense medications, and provide drug information.

This is a full-time, on-site position in Concord, NH. Ideal candidates hold a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy, NH licensure (reciprocity considered), and may have BCPS.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in NH or reciprocity pending.
• Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) desirable.
• Pharmacy residency desirable.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and resolves actual or potential medication-related problems.
• Takes ownership of pharmacy-related issues and follows them to completion.
• Provides accurate drug information to staff, providers, and the community.
• Assist physicians and residents to develop optimal drug therapies, including pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring.
