Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Doctor of Pharmacy with an active license and at least 1 year of hospital-based experience for a full-time Clinical Pharmacist Operations Specialist role on the day shift in Tulsa, OK.

The position supports specialty pharmacy operations and provides clinical pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting, overseeing daily operations such as IV room management, narcotics control, informatics, and residency program coordination.

Qualifications

B.S. or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy.
Clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
Completion of an accredited PGY-1 residency or fellowship AND either a PGY-2 residency/fellowship or 3+ years clinical experience.
Alternatively, 5+ years of clinical pharmacy experience without residency or fellowship.
Active Oklahoma pharmacist license in good standing.
Required certifications: BLS and ALS/ACLS.
Compliance with state requirements (e.g., sterile compounding).

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of specialty practice areas within the pharmacy department such as IV room management, diversion/narcotics control, informatics, and residency program coordination.
Provide clinical pharmacy care to patients when functioning as a staff pharmacist.
Deliver user support, conduct maintenance, troubleshoot operational issues, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Coordinate upgrade testing, lead educational activities, and act as a subject matter expert for specialty areas.
Train and serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and residents.
