Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed medications accurately and efficiently to patients
• Verify medication orders for completeness, accuracy, and dosing
• Communicate with providers regarding orders and non-formulary requests
• Follow USP 795/797/800 best practices for sterile and nonsterile drugs
• Participate in Clinical Pharmacy Service to deliver quality care
• Educate patients and families about medications and therapy outcomes
• Collaborate with Clinical Pharmacy Specialists to optimize therapy
• Ensure daily patient updates and clarify the pharmacy role in outcomes
• Enforce formulary and report adverse drug reactions
• Train and supervise pharmacy staff as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies and regulatory requirements
