Job summary

You’ll collaborate with nurses and providers to verify orders and maintain accuracy, ensuring safe, timely treatment. Licensure by the Louisiana Board of Pharmacy is required.

Qualifications

• Education requirements met prior to licensure with the Louisiana State Board of Pharmacy.
• Current Louisiana Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist License in good standing.
• Pharmacist: 1+ year hospital experience preferred.
• Clinical Pharmacist: 1+ year hospital experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and dispense inpatient medications per hospital policy.
• Support medication needs for acute care areas, including urgent and emergent situations.
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, physicians, coworkers, and supervisors.
• Maintain accuracy, integrity, and safety in all pharmacy workflows.
