Job summary
The Inpatient Staff Pharmacist at Avita Health System reviews and verifies medication orders, conducts clinical reviews, and provides drug information to clinical staff. They perform therapeutic monitoring and oversee sterile and non-sterile compounded drug product dispensing, including hazardous drugs.
This role also supervises and directs pharmacy technicians, interns, and support personnel, and participates in centralized inpatient operations and hospital ancillary departments.
Qualifications
- Current Ohio pharmacist license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications.

Performs centralized pharmacy operational tasks for Inpatient and hospital Ancillary departments, including final product verification and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile compounded drug products and hazardous drugs. Supervises and directs pharmacy technician, interns, and support personnel.
- Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in the State of Ohio.
- Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree of equivalent.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications
2nd shift - Monday-Thursday 12:30 pm - 11:00 pm - No Holidays or Weekends
80 hours per pay
