Avita Health System is seeking an Inpatient Staff Pharmacist to review and verify medication orders, perform clinical reviews, and monitor therapies. You will support centralized inpatient operations, including sterile and hazardous drug preparation, and provide drug information to clinical staff.

You will supervise pharmacy technicians and interns, ensuring high standards of patient safety and compliance. Ohio licensure, pharmacy degree, and provider certifications are required as listed above.

Formación

• Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in Ohio.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree of equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (provider)

JOB SUMMARY

The Inpatient Staff Pharmacist reviews and verifies medication orders, conducts clinical reviews, performs therapeutic monitoring, completed pharmacy consults, and provides drug information to clinical staff. Performs centralized pharmacy operational tasks for Inpatient and hospital Ancillary departments, including final product verification and dispensing of sterile and non-sterile compounded drug products and hazardous drugs. Supervises and directs pharmacy technician, interns, and support personnel.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Current licensure as a Pharmacist in good standing in the State of Ohio.
• Graduated from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor of Science degree of equivalent.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS provider certifications

Monday - Friday: 7 am-3:30 pm
Saturday/Sunday/Holidays: 7 am-7 pm
Rotating 2nd and 3rd shift coverage.
40 hours per week
