• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates within 50 miles not accepted.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense inpatient medication orders.
• Provide clinical dosing guidance and respond to medication-related inquiries.
• Identify drug interactions, contraindications, and medication safety concerns.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff.
• Use Meditech EMR and Omnicell automated dispensing systems.
• Support pharmacy operations across multiple acute care units.

Job description

Schedule:

• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.
• Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with arrival/preparation between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
• Every third weekend: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM, with arrival/preparation between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM.
• No on-call requirements.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a temporary assignment at a critical access hospital in Berlin, New Hampshire. The pharmacist will support inpatient pharmacy operations and provide clinical pharmacy services across the ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical-Surgical, and Emergency Department units.

This role requires strong hospital pharmacy experience, independent clinical judgment, and the ability to work with minimal on-site supervision, particularly during weekend coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Active AHA BLS certification.
