Job summary

Penn State Health Golisano Children's Hospital in Hershey, PA is seeking an inpatient Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join the pediatric orthopaedic surgery team. The APP will help formulate inpatient care plans, assist during surgery, perform simple procedures, and apply casts and splints, with potential outpatient fracture care during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or higher degree meeting licensure requirements.
• National Certification as a Physician Assistant or licensure with reciprocity.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Formulate inpatient care plans for pediatric orthopaedic patients.
• Assist during surgery and perform simple procedures.
• Apply casts and splints for pediatric patients.
• Possible outpatient fracture care during high-volume periods.
