Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Palliative Care.
• Eligible for Florida medical license.

Responsibilities

• Join an interdisciplinary palliative care team with physicians, APPs, social work, and collaborators.
• Provide specialty palliative care inpatient consultations for medically complex adults at UF Health Shands Hospital.
• Collaborate across oncology, hospital medicine, critical care, cardiology, neurology, surgery, geriatrics, and other specialties.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and other health professional trainees.
• Participate in quality improvement, program development, and educational initiatives.
• Collaborate with investigators and participate in palliative care and serious illness research.
