Compass Palliative Care in California is seeking outstanding Nurse Practitioners and PAs with experience or interest in palliative care. This part-time role offers Monday through Friday schedule and FLEXIBLE HOURS, with a defined patient load and a team led by board-certified physicians who provide ongoing training.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosing, documentation, patient-family education, and participation in department initiatives to improve training and outcomes.

Job description

Compass Palliative Care, a leading California-based palliative care provider seeks outstanding Nurse Practitioners/ PAs who have experience and/or interest in palliative care. Our practice provides palliative services in the hospital setting in the Long Beach area.

This is a Monday through Friday, part time position. We are pleased to offer FLEXIBLE HOURS.

The practitioner will be assigned a specific patient load for which they will be responsible. Our palliative program is run by experienced and board-certified physicians who take pride in being able to provide training and in-service education to their staff. They believe in the advancement of their staff as well as creating the best possible outcomes for the patients they serve.
