Job summary

CJW Medical Center, in partnership with Johnston-Willis Hospital, seeks an Occupational Therapist for PRN inpatient rehab. You will assess patients, create individualized plans, and deliver hands‑on therapy focused on regaining independence and quality of life.

You will work closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary team, document progress, educate patients and families, and support transitions of care in a resource-rich rehab setting.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.
• OT/OTR licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate each patient’s functional abilities and needs; develop therapy plans in coordination with physicians and care team.
• Deliver skilled, evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor patient progress; adjust plans; document outcomes thoroughly.
