Job summary

CHS Career Site is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a full-time position in an acute inpatient setting. The role involves evaluating patients, planning and administering therapeutic interventions, and documenting progress in accordance with physician prescriptions and regulatory standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of OT experience, hospital or rehab exposure, and current OT-Registered credentials with BCLS. A collaborative care environment with mentoring opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of clinical OT experience required.
• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation facility preferred.
• Licensure: OT-R (Registered) and BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and document patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy interventions and education; document sessions.
• Regularly reassess progress and adjust plans.
• Collaborate with care team to optimize outcomes.
• Mentor students and new staff; ensure compliance and safety.
• Ensure accurate billing documentation.
