Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for Casual/PRN hours to serve adult inpatients across medical-surgical areas, including Cardiology, Oncology, Trauma, Neurology and Orthopedics.

Priority consideration goes to those with inpatient OT experience. You will perform evaluations and OT treatments, participate in program planning and staff instruction, and collaborate with a team in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Occupational Therapy program with a Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
• NBCOT registered or eligible to take the exam.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Nebraska.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon unit orientation.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, planning, and implementation of OT treatments.
• Assist with department goals, program planning, and staff instruction.
• Maintain a progressive, educationally oriented staff environment.
• Communicate and work with the team professionally on a day-to-day basis.
