MUSC Health Florence Medical Center in Florence, SC is seeking a full-time Inpatient Occupational Therapist to evaluate and direct therapy for patients in acute care. The position offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and tuition reimbursement assistance.

You will establish therapy goals, develop treatment plans, coordinate with physicians and families, and supervise support staff as needed. State benefits and retirement are included.

Qualificações

• Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited school.
• One year prior experience preferred. New graduates acceptable.
• Occupational Therapist South Carolina License. AHA BLS or equivalent certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluates, administers and directs the administration of therapeutic procedures utilized in physical medicine and rehabilitation, as prescribed by a referring practitioner.
• Establishes goals of occupational therapy and reassess this patient's progress at regular, timely intervals, supporting findings with appropriate documentation.
• Assesses and treats speech and language disorders and impairments.
• Develops treatment plans that utilize appropriate intervention approaches, strategies, and materials.
• Establishes treatment priorities that include advising, educating, and counseling.
• Completes required documentation to record assessment and progress.
• Collaborates with physicians, family members, and other clinical providers to provide effective therapies.
• May direct support staff in assisting with treatment.
