Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Operating Room, Level I Trauma. This regular, 40-hour-week role includes rotating shifts in a high-acuity surgical environment.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, coordination with the OR team, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met. Required: Ohio RN license and a two-year nursing degree; bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-year College Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited program is preferred.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide nursing care to patients and families.
• Direct, supervise, and coordinate nursing care with the patient care team.
