Description

This is an Evening Inpatient Operations Pharmacist position at both Methodist and University Hospitals, part of the Adult Academic Health Center in Indianapolis, IN. The role is full-time with a 7 on 7 off schedule.

The pharmacist provides comprehensive, value-based medication-related care to improve patient quality of life, collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal drug therapy outcomes. Responsibilities include ensuring medication safety and effectiveness, processing prescriptions, monitoring therapy, regulatory compliance, overseeing pharmacy staff, maintaining medication security, and safeguarding patient confidentiality. The pharmacist also supports medical staff with drug information, ensures continuity of care, and identifies potential challenges in common scenarios.
