Job summary

Skywood Recovery seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead inpatient operations and drive safe, high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the CEO.

The role focuses on operational efficiency, survey readiness, performance improvement, and cross-department coordination across the organization.

The COO will mentor department directors and report on KPIs such as census, length of stay, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• 3-5 years related work experience required, 5-8 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides executive oversight of inpatient hospital operations to ensure safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
• Oversee daily hospital operations including admissions, patient flow, bed management, census optimization, and discharge coordination.
• Ensure readiness for Joint Commission, state licensing, and other regulatory agencies.
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to improve communication and coordinated patient care.
• Develops and reports key performance indicators such as census, admissions, average length of stay, patient satisfaction, incident trends, productivity, and quality outcomes.
• Coaches and mentors department directors, setting expectations and monitoring performance.
