Responsibilities

• Adheres to unit standards of care and Carson Tahoe Health policies.
• Attends 75% of scheduled staff meetings and completes required education and health requirements on time.
• Maintains license and certifications and current competencies.
• Identifies and communicates when more learning is needed.
• Communicates patient changes to the care team and ensures bedside handover per standards.
• Provides care supervision as needed and teaches patients and families basic care instructions.
• Develops and implements comprehensive care plans.
• Responds to urgent or emergency situations as they arise.
