Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (required).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
• Current RN license in the state(s) of practice or a valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient’s condition at admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Administer medications, monitor therapeutic response, and document care in the medical record.
• Provide prompt, compassionate patient care and respond to requests and needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, medications, side effects and follow-up measures.
