Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston seeks a Clinical Nurse II for the Reisman 11 oncology unit. You will provide direct patient care to adults undergoing hematologic malignancy treatment, including induction and maintenance chemotherapy, bone marrow transplant contexts, and post-treatment care.

You will work within a nurse-led team to deliver safe, effective, and compassionate care on a rotating schedule.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program.
• RN license required; BSN strongly preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred.
• Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments.
• Coordinates the care of patients and directs assistive personnel.
• Develops relationships with patients and families that maintain trust and communicate respect.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families, and staff.
• Maintains annual mandatory education requirements and participates in quality improvement activities.
