Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is accepting applications for an Clinical Nurse II on Reisman 11 oncology unit. You will provide direct patient care, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective treatment for patients with hematologic malignancies.

The role requires RN licensure, a nursing degree (BSN preferred), and 1–3 years of related experience with basic computer literacy.

Qualifications

Graduate from an accredited Nursing Program required.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
RN license required, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
1–3 years related work experience required.
Basic familiarity with computers.

Responsibilities

Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments.
Systematically assesses health care needs and formulates, implements, and evaluates a care plan.
Coordinates the care of patients and directs assistive personnel to provide safe, effective, patient-centered care.
Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other health professionals.
Maintains ongoing education requirements and seeks growth opportunities.
May participate in quality improvement activities and support patient advocacy.
