Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and successful completion of an AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies program.
• NCCPA certification and Massachusetts licensure required; must maintain DEA and MA Controlled Substance Licenses.

Responsibilities

• Manages all aspects of patient care in collaboration with supervising MD and care team.
• Examines patients to obtain information about their physical condition.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain relevant medical information.
• Records patient medical data including admission/discharge notes and daily progress notes.
• Prescribes therapy or medications and performs procedures per DFCI privileges.
• Coordinates care with attendings, consulting teams, nurses, social workers, and other staff.
