Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or equivalent.
• NCCPA certification, MA license, DEA and MA Controlled Substance Licenses.
• 100 CME hours every 2 years as required by regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manages patient care in collaboration with supervising MD and care team.
• Examines patients to obtain information about their condition.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain pertinent medical information.
• Documents patient data including admission, progress notes, and test results.
• Prescribes therapy or medications and performs procedures per privileges.
• Collaborates with all care team members and DF/BW staff.
• Participates in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Ensures efficient patient care while maintaining high standards.
