Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and successful completion of an AAPA/NCCPA accredited Physician Assistant Studies program.
• NCCPA Certification and MA licensure required; DEA and MA Controlled Substance Licenses; CME as required.

Responsibilities

• Manages patient care in collaboration with supervising MD and care team.
• Examines patients and obtains information about their condition.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to obtain pertinent medical information.
• Documents patient data including notes and results.
• Prescribes therapies and performs procedures within DF/BW privileges.
• Contributes to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
