Job summary

Affinity Home Health Care Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide inpatient oncology care, including assessments, care planning, and symptom management.

The RN will administer chemotherapy/immunotherapy per protocol, manage central venous access, and ensure safety with proper documentation and infection control practices. The role requires MA licensure, BLS, and chemotherapy certification (or within 6 months).

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy certification (or obtained within 6 months).
• BLS certification.
• Preferred oncology experience.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• Associate degree candidates must complete within 4 years.
• No supervisory duties.
• Direct patient contact in inpatient oncology setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about diagnosis and treatment.
• Support clinical research activities.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• May serve as charge nurse or preceptor for support staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
