Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking an inpatient oncology Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to care for oncology inpatients receiving routine chemotherapy and those with acute admissions. The role involves care on both Base and Liberty locations with 12-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, including holidays and every third weekend.

Qualifications

• Certification-FNP or Acute Care NP, NCCPA required or preferred.
• Preferred: CBDI experience 2+ years as RN or APP.

Responsibilities

• Perform history and/or physical exams for oncology inpatients.
• Assess and diagnose illnesses, including chronic and acute conditions, and formulate a treatment plan.
• Order and monitor interventions (labs, imaging, therapies) and provide inter-disciplinary consultations.
• Maintain professional practice, lifelong learning, and leadership within the pediatric oncology team.
• Maintain documentation and contribute to quality improvement and policy updates.
