Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred.
• 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in an Inpatient Oncology setting required.
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Establishes therapeutic relationships and provides emotional support to patients and families.
• Obtains accurate assessment data and interprets findings.
• Develops and implements an individualized plan of care with the health team.
• Educates patients and families on self-care and disease management.
• Monitors patient conditions and responds to emergencies per protocols.
• Supports quality care practices and participates in governance and ongoing learning.
