Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for the Inpatient Oncology unit (Lunder 9) at 45 Fruit Street. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vitals, and support nursing staff in a fast-paced oncology setting.

The role requires strong patient communication, basic medical knowledge, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Onsite work with rotating shifts and a starting pay range reflective of the unit’s responsibilities is offered.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 0–1 year in patient care/elder care preferred.
• Licenses/Certifications: BLS, CMA, EMT-B, LNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs, weights, and inputs/outputs accurately.
• Complete documentation in the medical record.
• Communicate with patients and families effectively.
• Assist with activities of daily living and basic hygiene tasks.
