Job summary

Qualifications

• Current OTA license to practice in the state where practicing.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• 2 years inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with the health care team.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients to improve ADLs and independence.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive equipment and home modifications.
• Document patient progress and outcomes in the EMR.
• Communicate and collaborate with OTs, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain safe patient care.
