Job summary

HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital invites experienced Occupational Therapists to join our team in Hudson, FL. You will deliver therapeutic services, conduct initial assessments, and develop individualized plans in coordination with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team.

We seek candidates with a Florida OT license, BLS certification, and commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. You will document care, communicate with families, and participate in ongoing professional growth

Qualifications

• Critical thinking and compassionate, evidence-based care for patients.
• Strong interpersonal communication with patients and families.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and verbal directions.
• Proficient computer skills and documentation capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans with physicians and care team.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions to promote healing and independence.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and document outcomes thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families to build understanding and engagement throughout recovery and beyond.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to ensure seamless transitions of care and positive patient experiences.
• Lead and mentor therapy assistants or students while upholding the hospital mission.
