Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine on the Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center campus seeks an Occupational Therapist to support Rehab Acute services. The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with 1–2 holidays annually and operates under supervision of the Rehab Therapy Services Inpatient Manager.

The therapist will evaluate patients, design and implement therapy programs to restore maximum function, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient and system outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• 1 year of Occupational Therapist experience.
• Clinical internships completed as required by the program.

Responsibilities

• Uses objective evaluation techniques to assess patients.
• Prescribes and implements treatment to restore function.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary health care team to maximize outcomes.
• Promotes improvements in service, department and hospital systems.
• Operates within organizational goals and objectives.
