Job summary

Carolinas Rehabilitation NorthEast in Concord, NC is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and plan comprehensive inpatient therapy programs for adults recovering from complex illnesses, injuries, or surgeries. You will supervise assistants and coordinate with physicians and the care team to restore function and promote independence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy, an active state OT license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required.
• Applicable state OT license required.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, plans, directs and administers OT programs in inpatient acute setting.
• Supervises Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehab Technicians, volunteers and students.
• Communicates evaluation results and coordinates treatment and discharge planning.
• Documents evaluations, progress notes, discharge notes and charges.
• Provides direct therapy services seven days a week as required.
