Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide evaluation, administration, and oversight of evidence-based occupational therapy for adults with physical disabilities. The role focuses on prevention, restoration of function, and improving daily living skills within the Therapy Services IP Adult department in Phoenix.

You will develop treatment plans with patients and families, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and ensure compliant documentation and billing.

Qualifications

• Experience applying evidence-based occupational therapy techniques.
• Ability to communicate clearly with physicians, nurses, and care teams.
• Proficient documentation including progress notes and discharge summaries.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and oversee occupational therapy services for individuals with physical disabilities.
• Develop and update care plans with patient/family to restore function.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize discharge planning and outcomes.
• Maintain current documentation and ensure compliance with policies and billing procedures.
• Supervise therapy assistants and delegate tasks as appropriate.
