Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist for casual/PRN hours. You will evaluate, plan and implement OT treatments for adult inpatients across multiple units, working with a collaborative team to support patient mobility and independence.

The role requires OT degree, NBCOT eligibility or registration, Nebraska licensure eligibility, and BLS certification. Prior inpatient experience is preferred. Casual shifts include weekends and holiday coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an approved program.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy registered or eligible to take exam.
• Licensed or eligible for Nebraska licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations, planning and implementation of occupational therapy treatments.
• Assist with department goals, program planning and staff instruction.
• Carry out day-to-day communication and duties with teamwork and professionalism.
