Job summary

Union Hospital Therapy, LLC in Terre Haute, IN seeks an energetic Occupational Therapist (OT) for inpatient coverage. This part-time PRN role welcomes experienced OTs and new graduates to provide therapeutic care in a clinical setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s or higher in OT with Indiana licensure and CPR/BLS certification; ability to work independently and in a team is essential. Inpatient duties include optimizing patient care time and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active state licensure, certification, and registration in good standing.
• CPR/AED/BLS certification or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Bonus: advanced education in neuro care or sports medicine is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout the shift.
• Professionalism in both written and verbal communication.
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment; maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatment for inpatients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent debility.
• Maintain high-quality clinical care and patient/physician satisfaction.
• Aim for 75%+ patient care time in inpatient settings; manage time effectively.
• Coordinate care within inpatient pathways and collaborate with other therapists.
• Promote teamwork, efficiency, and a positive unit image; uphold compliance and documentation requirements.
• Deliver care in line with state practice acts and hospital policies.
