Job summary

Fairview St. John’s Hospital in Maplewood, MN is seeking an inpatient occupational therapist to join the acute care team.

The OT will work within an integrated multidisciplinary group to deliver safe, evidence-based care across a range of diagnoses, collaborating with patients and families to achieve outcomes. Responsibilities include evaluation, planning, intervention, and establishing goals with patients.

Qualifications

• Minnesota OT license (or temporary) required.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• NBCOT certification preferred or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Participates in evaluation/re-evaluation with patient and family.
• Gathers pertinent data and performs examination.
• Develops an individualized plan of care with patient and family.
• Coordinates care with interdisciplinary team and discharge planning.
• Documents care and billing according to department standards.
