Carlsbad Medical Center seeks an Occupational Therapist for a full-time, acute/inpatient role. You will evaluate and treat patients, develop OT plans, and collaborate with physicians and the rehab team to maximize functional outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, creating measurable goals, mentoring students, and ensuring accurate documentation and billing. This position offers a $25K sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of clinical OT experience.
• Experience in hospital or rehabilitation facility preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OT principles and evidence-based interventions.
• Proficiency in EMR documentation.
• Ability to mentor students and new staff.

Responsabilités

• Conducts comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and documents findings.
• Develops individualized treatment plans with measurable goals.
• Delivers safe, effective therapy including exercises and education.
• Regularly reassesses progress and updates plans with the care team.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and rehab professionals for coordinated care.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment and proper equipment use.
