Job summary

Northwestern Medicine in McHenry/Woodstock is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist-Inpatient. The role is cross-trained for McHenry and Woodstock Inpatient Rehab locations, with a 2,500 sign-on bonus and a weekend shift option.

The OT will provide direct patient care, participate in teaching, committees, and care coordination, and maintain documentation per policy. Illinois license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Occupational Therapist License in the state of Illinois required.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire required.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and treatment planning for OT in inpatient rehab.
• Teaching and supervision of clinical interns and staff.
• Participation on committees and departmental process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain compliant documentation and charts per policy; discharge planning as needed.
• Collaborate with care teams to optimize patient outcomes and reduce costs.
