Job summary

LocumTenens.com, LLC is seeking an MD for inpatient obstetric and gynecologic coverage in Kearney, Nebraska. The assignment runs from October 2026 through April 2027 with a 24-hour call schedule at an on-site facility.

Clinicians will provide inpatient obstetric/gynecologic coverage, responding to precipitous deliveries and handling both vaginal and cesarean deliveries as needed. Call coverage is required, with hospital staff supporting operations throughout the period.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology negotiable.
• Inpatient obstetric/gynecologic coverage experience.
• Willingness to provide 24-hour on-site call.

Responsibilities

• Respond to the emergency department for precipitous deliveries as needed.
• Manage vaginal and cesarean deliveries during assigned coverage.
• Provide gynecologic call coverage including ED consultation and treatment as clinically indicated.
